This category exists solely to as a directory of articles that are considered how-tos. Most articles in this category will also be found in other categories.

To create a new How_tos page

First, browse the How_tos articles and subcategories below for examples and check for possible collaboration opportunities, i.e. articles similar to what you're considering writing. Once you're ready to create your own page:

• Type a proposed name for the new How_tos page in the following create box, and click "Create article".
• When the edit window opens, there will be some preliminary sample text with comments as hints. Add information about your How_tos. Do not worry about formatting or completeness, others will help and changes are easily made. Be BOLD.

Appropedia is still working on a way to add how to videos directly. For now please consider uploading your video to google video, vimeo, or youtube and then placing a link to the site on an fitting appropedia page and/or here.

Appropedia greatly encourages language-neutral how-tos, i.e. how-tos that can be viewed and understood by those in any language. Multilingual how-tos are also encouraged... actually how-tos, in general, are encouraged.
