Guide to knowledge products and solution mapping
This guide has been developed by the UNDP Acceleration Lab in El Salvador and the Appropedia Foundation to strengthen the capacities of international development professionals, NGOs, academics or anyone interested in documenting solutions and innovations aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
It uses an open knowledge approach applied to the practice of Solutions Mapping of the UNDP Accelerator Labs network. The guide describes general concepts about Solutions Mapping, knowledge products (or information products) and other relevant concepts to understand the importance of documenting grassroots solutions and innovations at local and global levels.
How to use this guide?
This guide is a self-study material, which means that it has been designed so that anyone interested in the subject can use it asynchronously and at their own pace.
