This guide has been developed by the UNDP Acceleration Laboratory in El Salvador and the Appropedia Foundation to strengthen the capacities of international development professionals, NGOs, academics or anyone interested in documenting solutions and innovations aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). ).
It uses an approach from open knowledge applied to the practice of Mapping Solutions from the network of Acceleration Laboratories of the UNDP. The guide describes general concepts about Solution Mapping, knowledge products (or information products) and others relevant to understanding the importance of documenting grassroots solutions and innovations at local and global levels.
