Accessing the Weather Station Web Interface

On-Site Access

To access the weather station webpage when on site at ICFAR, do the following:

  • Step 1 - Connect to the FAST internet network: The network is accessible across the Field Station.
  • Step 2 - Open a Browser
  • Step 3 - Enter the IP address of the German Solar router
  • Step 4 - Use the FAST Lab login for the platform to access the data

Remote Access

To access the weather station webpage remotely, do the following:

  • Step 1 - Visit the downloading page of RustDesk
  • Step 2 - Download and install the version suitable for your computer
  • Step 3 - Launch RustDesk
  • Step 4 - Enter the ID of the local FAST computer at the Field Station and connect using the password

You are now remotely connected to a local computer on the same network as the German Solar Router

  • Step 5 - Open the browser on the remote computer and connect to the German Solar platform
