Some Techniques in Using Zotero
1- How to extract the name of authors in your literature review folder in Zotero and have them listed with total number of their different papers includedː
- Open Zotero and click on the folder of references you want to extract the list of authors.
- Click on the "Tools" --> "Developer" ---> "Run Java Script"
- Insert the code below and "Run"
- You will see the name of authors and number of their various articles on the right side.
2- How to export the metadata of your literature review folder in Zotero and sort the name of journals (or any other data)ː
- Open Zotero and click on the folder of references you want to extract the list of authors.
- Ctrl+A, then right-click on the list and "Export Items"
- Open the csv file and click on the column of "Publication Title"
- Go to "Data" Tab and sort them A->Z
