Testing appropriate technology projects is an important step to not only ensuring the technology works, but to understanding if the technology fits the social and environmental situation. Lab and field testing and surveying are different approaches to getting feedback on appropriate technology designs and applications. The testing and surveying helps then feedback into design evolution and application adaptations. Below is a list of different testing done by different appropriate and alternative technology projects.
