Mesentery is a double fold of peritoneum that suspends the small intestine from the posterior abdominal wall, relevant in simulation for bowel handling and mesenteric dissection training.

Flat Bed Sheet Meckel's Diverticulectomy Simulator Unrolled portion of the same bed sheet (~35.56 cm); the bunched end forms the mesentery root attachment to the bowel.
Cotton Stuffing Acute Appendicitis Simulator Cotton or gauze in plastic wrap forms the mesoappendix carrying the appendiceal artery.
