Background Information[edit | edit source]

Bottle Rollers are used to roll different sizes and types of roller bottles at a rate of 1-80rpm. The roller bottle that are placed on the Bottle Roller are used for growing or storing cell cultures while being rotated in a heated environment. Bottle Rollers can also be used for a wide verity of mix different solutions together, and the amount of leaching that can form different materials. The typical price range for a Bottle Roller bought online can be in excess of $950 up to $2,000 for a single level Bottle roller system.

Applications[edit | edit source]

Bottle Rollers are used for a wide variety of different application that are implemented in many different fields of the scientific community. Application for bottle rollers have been used for creating cell cultivation, material leaching, sediment washing, roller bottle drying, and many more application. Bottle Rollers are able to be used for almost anything that involves something being mixed or rotated in a bottle for any amount of time in different environment's.

Design Specification[edit | edit source]

The Bottle Roller should be able to meet the following design specification:

  • Operation speed range of 1-80 RPM.
  • Maximum Roller Bottle diameter 120 millimetres
  • Operation Time range 1-999 minutes or continuous function
  • Minimum of 2 Roller Bottle capacity
