Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF)[edit | edit source]

Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) is a 3D printing process that builds objects layer-by-layer by extruding melted thermoplastic filament. Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is the trademarked term for this process when used in Stratasys' commercial systems.
