Low Tech
One of my favorite things about the concept of appropriate technology is that it eschews the high-tech/low-tech dichotomy. When analyzing a specific situation, we don't need to be beholden to this somewhat arbitrary distinction to decide what technologies would have the best fit. I'd like (eventually) to build up the "low tech" and supposedly obsolete tech content on Appropedia. Often these technologies are the domain of hobbyists, so we could seek contacts in the primitive skills and historical reinactment coummnities for people interested in documenting them.
