Hi, as far as I can see the only templates I currently use & need that are listed on unused templates are Template:CASwiki invite - Template:CASwikinewpage - Template:CASthanks . Thanks - I appreciate what you are trying to do - but the templates I am using for the group make it so we only need to update once -- for use on the main page and other places can you use the sub category templates...e.g. just the one for 2020 rather than hard code the entire category?--Joshua Pearce (talk) 13:37, 30 September 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

That is fine - but how do I do the same for my own pages rather than use templates? e.g. I want the contents of completed projects (or some of them) to show up at the MOST main page (which is a category), the project page (also a category), and my personal page...- Joshua Pearce (talk) 13:46, 30 September 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Echo y Village pump[edit source]

@Emilio ¡Hola! Hoy instalé la mw:Extension:Echo que introduce notificaciones que se disparan en diversas circunstancias. Una de ellas es cuando te mencionan en cualquier página, lo cual permite "llamar" o "pingear" a los usuarios y facilita enormemente la comunicación. Para simplificar aún más el asunto, hice la Template:Re que permite llamar a los usuarios con la sintaxis {{Re|Emilio}}, como acabo de hacer en este mensaje. :-)

Además, empecé a rediseñar Appropedia:Village pump. Por ahora solo archivé las conversaciones viejas, pero también inicié la Template:Village pump que espero pronto reemplazará a todo el encabezado monstruoso que hay actualmente al comienzo de la village pump. Todavía faltan varios enlaces y cuestiones, pero me vendría bien un comentario sobre qué elementos no pueden faltar y cuáles otros sí son prescindibles. ¡Abrazo!
