The cricothyroid membrane is the fibrous membrane connecting the thyroid cartilage to the cricoid cartilage.[1] It is the target incision site for emergency cricothyrotomy, providing rapid surgical access to the airway.[2][3] This stub page requires expert review and content enhancement.
