Add topicRELATED TOPICS
[edit source]I propose we add topics that are closely related to cohousing, including:
co-working facilities.
tool, resource, and skill sharing in sharing economies and in ecovillages
tangentially related: domicology, buildings that incorporate flexibility in design.
What other related topics do other see?
Another thing I would like to see is a directory/map of cohousing communities, and I propose we work to complete the directory that is already underway on the part of Global Ecovillage Network, Foundation for Intentional Community, and others including Appropedia.
We can invite people to include links here by GEN region and then country, and perhaps some next smaller regions (states, counties, etc.).
If we get logitude and latitude data for all ecovillages (at least perhaps to the zip code level of placement), this information can also be plotted onto "Science on a Sphere" global mapping system. See https://sos.noaa.gov/

- Hi @TomStanton, this all sounds great! Go for it. I did some time ago try and incorporate more data re ecovillages but at that time their data wasn't always very up to date or of very high quality, especially location data, but hopefully better now? Philralph (talk) 08:10, 15 February 2026 (UTC)

- Hi @TomStanton, yes it's particlarly helpful for easily sharing much more news and events across many location pages and relevant topic pages than I could possibly do without it. - @ Philralph -- Wowza. I looked. I did not know about East and West "Malling" until now. Maybe I can visit next time I come across the pond. Who knows when, but I do have a bucket list trip to Eden Project Cornwall in mind. Have you been there?
