1.    1% or 2% Plain lidocaine 3mg/kg in 1:1 dilution.

2.    0.25% or 0.5% Bupivacaine 2mg/kg made up to 2ml or 3ml volume.

*** Suture size

Absorbable sutures available in the local environment should be used. Appropriate sizes range from 4/0 to 6/0 dependent on child’s weight and age.
