Appropedia:Learning institutions on Appropedia

There are many ways that students and academics can and do contribute to Appropedia, as well as benefiting from the site:

Students can work on Appropedia as part of their assessment:
- create topic pages
- carry out and write up projects
- translate pages
Academics and researchers can share what they are doing (whatever you are willing to share under our free license), and collaborate with others on the site.

Examples:

Clarion University: Clarion students have an international impact for the environment: "The Clarion University student project was a collaboration between the physics department, which routinely uses sustainable technologies to teach physics, and the department of modern languages and cultures, chaired by Dr. Eleanor ter Horst, to expand the information to a global reach. Students worked throughout the semester to develop content in German and French on the mostly English-language website, which features projects that are sustainable and environmentally friendly."
