Water refill stations are common in the cities of some developing countries.
Refills are around 3 c per liter in some countries (e.g. Rp 6000 for 20 L in Jakarta; or around 1 Baht for more than a liter, from reverse osmosis dispensing machines on the streets of Bangkok).
