Ethical volunteering[edit source]

Hi Markus,

Thank you for your thoughts regarding the travel internship, I responded User_talk:Lonny#internship_and_more_orgs here.

Context[edit source]

Hi Markus,

I added a {{context needed}} tag to the Forest Artifacts article - it would be a bit confusing for someone to come to the article without knowing about the series of articles.

Do you think some kind of navigation template would help? E.g. one basic explanation that goes on all the forest pages, or a list of the key pages, or all the pages? --Chriswaterguy 11:07, 17 October 2011 (PDT)

Context Reply[edit source]

Sure we can tidy up a few of these project pages I think - I ask the other project guys what they what to do.

Hi Markus - have you had a chance to speak to your teammates about this? Of course it's a wiki, so you can do something first and ask forgiveness later, in the open source spirit ;-).
If you make some text & links, I can put them in a notice form, to be used as a navigation box on each page. Something like the one on Appropriate technology open collaborations, perhaps - either a small one with a few words and linking to the main page, or listing more pages if you wish (but then it must be kept updated). --Chriswaterguy 19:41, 20 February 2012 (PST)

Indigenous Peoples Forest Wiki[edit source]

Just to let you know that I created a cat page for your wiki at Category:Indigenous_Peoples_Forest_Wiki and I also renamed some of your pages as capitals are not normally used in page titles. Would it make sense to use this format: IPFW_pagename? Maybe we can talk about how you are planning to structure the pages or whether there are better ways to do it.Joeturner 00:39, 7 March 2013 (PST)

Yes I think it would. Thanks Joe. It would be good to talk. I want to talk with my potential supervisor here (today or tomorrow) and then I can be more constructive.

Thanks for recent edit[edit source]
