Overview
Non-woven polypropylene bag is the lightweight, felt-like fabric used to make reusable shopping and tote bags. It is sold cheaply as reusable grocery and shopping bags and craft totes through grocery and general-merchandise stores, craft suppliers, and online retailers — typically a dollar or two per bag. The fabric cuts cleanly with ordinary scissors and holds a stitch or suture without fraying, which suits it to thin, membrane-like layers in tissue phantoms. Stored dry it does not spoil and has an effectively indefinite shelf life.
