Clay refers to air-dry or oil-based modeling clay used in medical simulation to represent firm but deformable tissue masses. Clay retains its shape under light pressure and offers modest resistance, making it useful for spatial orientation, lesion modeling, and prototyping anatomical relationships.

| Cervix (nulliparous and parous) | IUD Insertion Simulator | Light pink oil-based (stiffer) modelling clay rolled into two cylinders — 2.5 cm diameter by 3 cm long for the nulliparous cervix, 3 cm diameter by 3 cm long for the parous one — with a pencil tip or chopstick pressed through the centre to form a smooth, rounded os on the first and a wider "fish mouth" os on the second. Each mounts on the pegs of the 3D-printed uterus. This build carries no squamocolumnar junction and no lesion, so it is separate from the red-and-white clay rows above.[5] |

| Bronchoscopy Anatomical Trainer (Di Domenico) | Sacrificial build form | 500 g of glazier-putty (€0.80) is applied over the wire-and-newspaper scaffold to form the bronchial tree at real scale; the model is then wrapped in food film and covered in 6 to 7 layers of paper-mache. The putty is "part of the build form that is removed when the finished shell is detached". The simulator page lists it under structural parts, not tissues — on this build the clay is the mould, not a tissue, so it carries no row in the tissue table above.[6] |
