The Fall 2010 semester of Engr205 Introduction to Design worked with Humboldt Bay Center for Sustainable Living to design and build projects to support an eco-hostel in Humboldt County.

Category name[edit source]

I suggest changing from "Category:HBCSL" to "Category:Humboldt Bay Center for Sustainable Living" - otherwise people won't know what it means. It's long, but that's okay.

That might seem like a double standard since I created Category:ICT4D but I don't think that's as obscure. Could be wrong.

If there's a move to be done can move the articles to the new category with my bot, and any admin can move the category page with history intact.. --Chriswaterguy 11:14, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi,

I would love to wait until December 15th, 2010 for this to happen. The main reason is that this category is in the midst of a lot of action with a lot of players (about 80 for sure, and probably over 100) for the next couple of months. Changing now would be a hardship.

Is December 15th, 2010 acceptable for the name change?

Belated response from me... no way to automate that checking, AFAIK. Someone would have to run the bot script "replace.py" and replacing "[[:Category:Old category name" with "[[:Category:New category name" would work - and "{{cl\|Category:Old category name" with "{{cl|Category:New category name" - manually checking each before approving.
