Fab Labs SDG/FabLab UERJ

We are a lab that is located inside the Rio de Janeiro State University and we already have a couple of 3D printers that are used by the university students.

Located at the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Rio de Janeiro State University the lab has two 3D printers and one laser machine. The equipment is available to the students for the development of engineering projects and prototypes. Hence, microcontrollers such as Arduino are available to the users for automation projects.

We are in the process of buying a CNC Router capable of machining Aluminum and new tools and equipment for an electronics workbench. The lab provides a good atmosphere thanks to its proximity with the Mechanical Engineering Graduate Program, its Professors and Masters and Doctoral students.
