Fab Lab Bilbao is the digital laboratory of Espacio Open Bilbao, is a cultural center located since 2009 in the Old Bilbao Cookie Factory, in Zorrotzaurre's island.

Espacio Open Bilbao, is a cultural center located since 2009 in Ribera de Deusto / Zorrotzaurre Island, in the Old Bilbao Cookie Factory (Artiach Factory), it works at the intersection of contemporary culture, technology and social issues. It is a meeting place between heritage, creative technologies and contemporary culture open to citizens through activities that we organize along the year.

The Espacio Open Digital Creation and Culture Center, Fab Lab Bilbao, aims to disseminate knowledge, tools and expertise of avant-garde technologies in all sectors of society. Its projects include the Maker Ekintzaile Creation Residences of art and technology, focused on helping local and international makers and artists to develop creative projects through open source tools, the International Festival in creative technologies Maker Faire Bilbao and a program of workshops and activities focused on several audiences: universities and academia, professionals and general public.
