The Ecovillage Training Center is part of the Global Village Institute for Appropriate Technology, which has been pushing the frontiers of alternative energy, housing, farming, and tools for sustainability for the past 20 years. Global Village Institute works with the United Nations and several national governments and international agencies on a regular basis, performing trainings on 6 continents. The ETC was created to train people how to build ecovillages, and also to pioneer the pedagogy and action learning curricula for similar and related sustainability training programs worldwide. We have trained people from more than 50 countries and are able to offer credit towards university degrees.
