Wouldn't it be great to gather all the savvy, wisdom and success (as well as pitfalls, wrong turns and dead ends) that these groups have accumulated, so that all can benefit? But these groups have very limited resources. What to do? Our answer, and the topic of Appropedia's inaugural Initiative, is

The Appropedia Travel Internship Program.

Our first Travel Intern, Isabell (Liz) Kimbrough is pioneering the program in Latin America right now, and still has room in her itinerary to visit great projects and write them up.
