Our monthly chat is an internet chat and editing jam to talk about Appropedia - what you're working on, challenges for Appropedia, and ideas to improve things. As this is new, we may try out different chat platforms, so check here for details, or join the community mailing list.

- When: Monday November 12, 2012, 6pm PST(Tuesday November 13, 2012, 2am GMT). See what time this is in your time zone. (We've blocked out 90 min, but you can drop in briefly or stay as longer if things are on a roll.) A few examples of local times are given below:

- UK, Ireland and Portugal 10pm
- China, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Central Indonesia 6am Tuesday 13th (early start!)

- New Zealand 11am Tuesday 13th (NZDT).

Joining the channel
Easiest option for connecting to IRC: enter via the Freenode Web Chat. Enter a username and connect.
If you already have an IRC client (desktop app), connect to #appropedia on Freenode.net. See Appropedia:IRC for advanced options.

- Day: Second Sunday of each month. (That's the Monday morning in Asia & Oceania.)
- Time: 10pm GMT. We'll give a few local times around the world each time, and you can also look up the time in your own timezone (see the Time Zone Converter to convert from "UTC/GMT").

Tips:
- If you're in a timezone that uses daylight saving, or if you sometimes change timezones, then adding the event as a recurring event can be difficult. (It's possible to choose the correct GMT timezone, but a bug in Google Calendar shows the wrong time for future recurrences. Instead, add
