Welcome![edit]

Appropedia-logo.jpg

Hi Meganhelms,

Welcome to the Appropedia wiki. Please make yourself at home! If you need a general wiki-tutorial, Wikieducator has some excellent ones.

Check your preferences and be sure you verify your email address and turn on email notification if you'd like it -- you can find out when your talk page, or any page on your watchlist, is modified. You may want to upload a photo or information about yourself to your userpage (which is at http://www.appropedia.org/User:Meganhelms, or this link).

If you have a particular interest or project in mind, go ahead and start it! Feel free to leave me a note on my talk page if you have further questions, need help finding your way around, have a cool idea for a project, or just want to chat. You can also call, text, or email me anytime; contact information is on my user page.

Glad to have you here!

-CurtB

Welcome[edit]

Welcome to Appropedia. Please make yourself at home! If you need help, please check out the Help pages or leave me a message on my talk page.

CurtB's welcome has some good advice.

Feel free to leave me a note on my talk page if you have further questions, need help finding your way around or on your project. Check out some of the other Engr305 projects. If you want to try different types of mediawiki formating, feel free to muck around in the 305 sandbox. Most importantly remember to be BOLD in your edits to pages. Others will come along and help out.

Good luck on your project, --Lonny

Porting[edit]

Hi Megan - if you want any help getting started with porting, you can leave a note on the Village pump or on my talk page. --Chriswaterguy · talk 14:20, 21 February 2008 (PST)

Tables[edit]

Hi Megan,

Thanks for the update on your progress (and your edit to Photovoltaics as well). For inserting your budget, see the template at Help:Table_examples#Cost_Table and the general help on tables as well. Here is a tool that lets you copy and paste in a table, then click a button to spit out the wiki code. It is somewhat effective. Please feel free to post any more questions here or on my talk page.

Thank you, --Lonny 15:45, 10 March 2008 (PDT)
