I am a recent graduate in Biomedical Engineering at Michigan Technological University. I was a part of the Pavlis Honors College, both as a learning facilitator and as a student. In the Summer of 2019, I had the opportunity to go abroad to Tanzania with two other students to work on aiding a small community with local problems (i.e STEM education). I was a member of the Innovative Global Solutions Enterprise with the main task of designing, and constructing, the poly-carbonate packaging for a pandemic ventilator. I was recently a member of the Michigan Tech Open Sustainability Technology Lab working on using recyclable material to 3D-print medical applications, as well as building an open-source ventilator for COVID-19. I now work at DEKA Research and Development as a Validation and Verification Test Engineer, where I am able to use the engineering skills I have obtained to help create medical devices.
