Appropedia you are amazing! I started my adventures on appropedia when I took on the Natural Paint project at CCAT in the spring of 2007. I learned so much about indoor air quality during that project that it has made me so much more passionate about the products, furnishings, and cleaners we use in our homes. The natural paint project was not only an education in indoor air quality, a beginning in natural finishes, and hands on experience with appropriate technology but it landed me a job at CCAT as a groundskeeper/natural painter in the summer of 2007. A year later, I was accepted to be the next CCAT Co-director and got to move into this amazing house in June 2008.
The Campus Center for Appropriate Technology is such an amazing feat of student dedication that I am inspired to keep working no matter how tired I feel. I am so thankful for this place and for inspiring teachers like Lonny Grafman. I hope to someday run my own educational center, but for now I will keep trying to educate through living by example.
