I am Graduate student at Michigan Technological University. Pursuing my Masters in Power and Renewable Energy development. Currently working as a Research Assistant, MOST Research group, Michigan Technological University under guidance of Dr. J.M.Pearce. I am interested in working on projects related to Renewable Energy Development.

Authored and implemented Code for PWM generation using Micro c and Proteus.

2.Ultrasonic Cleaner (Mosfet based single phase inverter) Designed Mosfet based single phase inverter (Ultrasonic Cleaner). Utilized Altium for doing ‘Surface mount device’ PCB designing

2.Switched Mode power supply(SMPS) Designed an 80W SMPS using Flyback converter topology to generate multiple DC output (5V and 12V) from AC input.

1.Levelized Cost of Electricity for Solar Photovoltaic, Battery and Cogen Hybrid Systems Jan 2015-May 2015 Provided a new method of quantifying the economic viability of off-grid PV+battery+CHP hybrid systems by calculating the LCOE of the technology.

2.Performance of U.S. Hybrid Distributed Energy Systems: Solar Photovoltaic, Battery and Combined Heat and Power Jan 2015-May 2015 Designed an off-grid PV+CHP+Battery hybrid system in order to fulfil a residential load demand for various geographical location in US. The system was simulated using HOMER-Pro software.

3.Behaviour of Wind Turbine in Voltage Regulation Mode and VAr Regulation Mode Sep 2015-Dec 2015 Designed a single line distribution network with DFIG wind turbine setup using Matlab (Simulink) in order to study their impact under different scenarios and also to study DFIG’s control system.

4.Available Transfer Capability Sep 2015-Dec 2015 Formulated Genetic Algorithm by using Repeated AC Power Flow for IEEE-30 bus system and calculated ATC and ATC with contingency for the system. Implemented the code in Matlab.

5.Transmission Line Performance and Analyzing it using ATP Sep 2014-Dec 2014 Designed a 132KV double circuit transmission line using ATP to analyse the factors affecting the back Flashover pattern when lightning is struck on a transmission tower top. Also designed a 420KV substation using ATP to analyse the effect of installing non-linear surge arrester to protect terminal equipment’s with non-restoring insulation when lightning surges appears across the substation.

6.Load Flow Algorithm for Distribution System with and without Distributed Generation Jan 2015-May 2015 Adopted Forward/Backward Sweep algorithm to perform load flow analysis for 12 bus distribution network and IEEE-33 bus distribution network and determined the effect of installation of Distributed generation units. Implemented the code using Matlab.

7.Impact of Distributed Generation unit on Distribution Relay Protection Jan 2015-May 2015 Investigated the potential impacts of Distributed Generation (DG) units on the protection setup of a typical Distribution Network (DN) using Matlab and suggested some effective and practical solutions for the safe integration of DGs into DN.

8.Load Flow Analyis for IEEE 14 bus system Jan 2015-May 2015 Adopted Newton-Raphson Algorithm to perform load flow analysis for IEEE14 bus system. Implemented the code using Matlab.

9.Unsymmetrical Fault Analysis Jan 2015-May 2015 Performed Unsymmetrical Fault analysis for a 5-bus system using Matlab software and verified the results using ASPEN Software.
