TissueDB/Tissues/Scalp
The scalp consists of five distinct tissue layers (skin, connective tissue, aponeurosis, loose areolar tissue, and pericranium) overlying the cranium. Simulation of scalp tissue is relevant for training in emergency craniotomy, wound closure, and scalp flap procedures.
