TissueDB/Tissues/Round Ligament
The round ligament of the uterus is a fibromuscular cord that passes from the uterine cornua through the inguinal canal to insert into the labia majora. In females it is the inguinal canal analogue of the spermatic cord in males and is encountered during inguinal hernia repair in pediatric and adult patients.
