TissueDB/Tissues/Inguinal Ligament
The inguinal ligament is a fibrous band running from the anterior superior iliac spine to the pubic tubercle along the inferior edge of the external oblique aponeurosis. It forms the floor of the inguinal canal and is a critical landmark during open and laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair.
