Resin (SLA printing) is the photopolymer used in stereolithography (SLA) and digital light processing (DLP) 3D printers. The Formlabs Form 2, the SLA printer used for the urethra insert and valve body in the Gillis model below, is specified by its manufacturer at layer thicknesses of 25, 50 or 100 microns.[1]

(Structural — printed threaded insert and valve body, not tissue simulant) Urinary Catheterization Simulator (Gillis) The threaded insert and valve body for the urethra and sphincter were printed on a Formlabs Form 2 SLA printer in Grey Pro resin; the insert was glued into the bottom of the bladder and the valve body screwed in to seal against water leakage.[2]
