Cotton Stuffing is cotton fibre refined into a fluffy absorbent form (per Wikidata Q844770, cotton wool). It comes in three common working forms: cotton balls (sold by the bag at supermarkets and pharmacies), absorbent cotton wool rolls (sold at pharmacies), and bulk fibre-fill (sold by craft and upholstery suppliers). You work with it by teasing the fibres apart by hand to break up clumps, then packing it into cavities, layering it, or wrapping it with fabric covers; roll form cuts cleanly with scissors. Cotton balls and absorbent cotton wool also come in sterile pharmacy grades. Can be used in medical simulation to fill cavities or provide soft bulk in tissue-simulating models.
