Launched in 2002, NextEnergy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the goal of becoming one of the nation’s leading catalysts for alternative and renewable energy.

Through participation in research, NextEnergy accelerates the development of new technologies. Through technical, business, and policy expertise, we provide an engine for technology development and deployment.
