Mobile Shelter

From Appropedia

A Mobile Shelter is any dwelling unit that is not permanently attached to a solid foundation. Examples of Mobile Shelters include: "Tiny House", School Bus Conversion, Remote Vehicle, Van Conversion, Motorhome, and Truck Topper.

Many standard permanent homes are not affordable for a large population of individuals, and Mobile Shelters are becoming increasingly popular housing solutions for various individuals and families that are looking for an alternative lifestyle.

Mobile Shelters do not have to follow Building Codes, which makes them more affordable dwelling options and are achievable builds for Do-It-Yourself'ers (DIY) to complete in a short amount of time compared to standard home construction, at a fraction of the cost.
