The Ventilator Connector is a 3D printed spare connector for a ventilator, sized approximately 3.3 cm x 2.2 cm x 4.6 cm. It is 3D printed using ABS plastic filament.

Usage Notes

Print vertically in the orientation shown in the reference picture to avoid needing support. Using a slightly higher than usual printing temperature helps the layers bond together, and if printing only one part, a slow print speed allows each layer to cool sufficiently before the next is applied, since a fast print speed can lead to warped layers. If the part is for medical use, it should be printed in food-grade PET.

Manuals

[edit | edit source]
About the manuals

Field Ready develops manuals to support both the fabrication and safe use of its products. A maker manual provides step-by-step instructions for replicating the design, including materials, tools, and assembly guidance, so that makers in different locations can build the product accurately and consistently. A user manual, where applicable, explains how to properly set up, use, and maintain the product once it is built, helping ensure it performs safely and as intended for the end user. Together, these manuals make the design accessible to both fabricators and the people who ultimately rely on the product.
