The Nebulizer T Fitting is a 3D printed fitting that allows other gases to be mixed into a nebulizer supply. It measures approximately 2.8 cm x 6.3 cm x 6.5 cm and is 3D printed using ABS plastic filament.

Usage Notes

The fitting should be sterilized, and it is recommended to test a trial print for airtightness before use. A simple method is to install the fitting in place with a gas supply, block off the outlet with tape, then apply liquid soap to the outside; visible bubbles indicate the print is porous. If porous, try changing the print settings (higher temperature, more extrusion) or apply an acetone or lacquer treatment, ensuring any treatment is fully dry before retesting or use.

Manuals

[edit | edit source]
About the manuals

Field Ready develops manuals to support both the fabrication and safe use of its products. A maker manual provides step-by-step instructions for replicating the design, including materials, tools, and assembly guidance, so that makers in different locations can build the product accurately and consistently. A user manual, where applicable, explains how to properly set up, use, and maintain the product once it is built, helping ensure it performs safely and as intended for the end user. Together, these manuals make the design accessible to both fabricators and the people who ultimately rely on the product.
