The Hose Barb Adapter/Manifold is a customizable, 3D printed paramedic design that generates a barbed hose adapter for any inside-diameter tubing, for example connecting various tubing sizes used in pond pumps. The latest version (v3) adds feet to the optional supports for manifolds and allows the number of input and output barbs to be set, which can help keep the design within the printable build space. It is 3D printed using ABS plastic filament.

Usage Notes

Customize and select the input and output sizes before printing; the input barb prints on the bottom. Supports can be included with manifolds to aid with overhangs and should snap off easily, or can be left in place. The manifold feature is still being tested.

Manuals

About the manuals

Field Ready develops manuals to support both the fabrication and safe use of its products. A maker manual provides step-by-step instructions for replicating the design, including materials, tools, and assembly guidance, so that makers in different locations can build the product accurately and consistently. A user manual, where applicable, explains how to properly set up, use, and maintain the product once it is built, helping ensure it performs safely and as intended for the end user. Together, these manuals make the design accessible to both fabricators and the people who ultimately rely on the product.
