About the challenge

[edit | edit source]

Instead of relying on chemical medicines, it is more eco-friendly and cheaper to use highly effective traditional home made remedies. The area of South West Morocco is well known for the diversity of its flora. In winter, women use local herbs and fruits such as lemon, mint, honey, a green herb named “Fliou”, as well as olive oil as natural cures for colds and flu.

Description

[edit | edit source]

To treat colds, apply olive oil all over the chest and back, drink honey with heated lemon, or insert Fliou plant inside the nostrils and the ears. One can also create an infusion of mint and Fliou.
