After much trial and error, I am an environmental study major with an appropriate technology emphasis. I have learned in fields as broadly connected as psychology, anthropology and international studies. I work to both merge and separate my academic interests with hobbies. In the past, I was blessed to be able to work and learn in Peru, Belize, and Puerto Rico to build gardens, homes, and communities. Here at HSU, I am a Campus Center for Appropriate Technology (CCAT) volunteer and facilitator of the green building class. I also work with the Waste Reduction Resource Awareness Program (WRRAP). I believe in small steps and big dreams and continued adventure.
