Steps to getting offline access to Appropedia
Assumptions
- Appropedia's static Cash looks like wikipedia's. This probably includes not only the version of the wiki software but also the compression (bzip2)
- You are on a windows machine
Steps
- Download and Install the latest version of Firefox.
- Add the Zipedia Add-On to Firefox.
- Download the Appropedia Dump
- Download and install 7zip
- uncompress .gz file
- compress .xml file to .bz2
- Reload Firefox if you haven't already
