Welcome![edit source]

Hi Krystle,

Welcome to the Appropedia wiki. Please make yourself at home! If you need a general wiki-tutorial, Wikieducator has some excellent ones.

Check your preferences and be sure you verify your email address and turn on email notification if you'd like it -- you can find out when your talk page, or any page on your watchlist, is modified. You may want to upload a photo or information about yourself to your userpage (which is at https://www.appropedia.org/User:Krystle, or this link).

If you have a particular interest or project in mind, go ahead and start it! Feel free to leave me a note on my talk page if you have further questions, need help finding your way around, have a cool idea for a project, or just want to chat. You can also call, text, or email me anytime; contact information is on my user page.

Glad to have you here!

Fantastic blog and addition to Appropedia[edit source]

Hi Krystle,

Thank you for adding How to Practice Sustainable Agriculture to Appropedia. I added a few links to other Appropedia pages, and I categorized it under Category:Agriculture and Category:How tos. Please feel free to change anything back that does not please you.

Your blog is fantastic and I especially appreciated your journey. Thank you for sharing it with the world. Please feel free to add your CSA to our nascent category on CSA's. Keep enjoying your fantastic path, --Lonny 20:02, 18 September 2007 (PDT)

Public domain info on ag[edit source]

when I was looking up info on Mulch, I realized that there's some good agricultural info on US federal government sites, and it's public domain. E.g. Mulching - NRCS. Obviously it's just one perspective, but some good basic info regardless, I think.

This got me thinking, we need a search engine for public domain content. So, if you're looking for info, give Public Domain Beta Search a try. --Chriswaterguy · talk 21:51, 23 November 2007 (PST)
