Hello friend, I am Joe, and I'm an admin here.

I'd like to say something about images - namely that we have to be very careful about the licenses for images that we upload here. Generally, they have to be a) images we've created ourselves or b) images we know for certain are in the public domain or that we can use under license.

Unfortunately, uploading images that 'we found ages ago on google' doesn't really fit with the above categories.

I know it sounds anal and I know it seems over-the-top, but it is the way it is. If you can't find a reference that gives you a license or indicates it is in the public domain, it probably isn't. Cute as it is, we don't know whose image this is, hence we can't use it.

These things happen, but be aware that we do monitor images and will remove things that do not have the proper license.
