My name is Teagan Farrell, and I am a transfer student-athlete at Cal Poly Humboldt studying Mechanical Engineering. I attended Johnston Community College in Smithfield, North Carolina for one academic year to work on gen-eds while evaluating my next steps in my education and athletics. I have an interest in designing and sustainability as well as mathematics. I plan to earn my bachelor's in mechanical engineering while finishing out my eligibility competing for Cal Poly Humboldt's triathlon team. I hope to eventually earn my master's in mechanical engineering or pursue a minor in mathematics.
Outside of my education I have a strong passion for athletics. I have gained valuable leadership skills during my brief but thorough coaching career. I have experience in coaching swimming, cross country, as well as track and field. I also created and directed a camp to introduce young girls to athletics and an active lifestyle called, "Passion and Performance."
I also have an extensive work experience in hospitality and customer service, having been a lifeguard and swim instructor for several years, as well as being a hostess and food runner at a local restaurant.
I am interested in internship opportunities for the summer of 2026!
