Currently, I am a student at Cal Poly Humboldt working towards a Bachelor of Science degree from an Interdisciplinary Studies "Student Designed" major. This is a major that I was able to create for myself. I took three areas of interest and combined them into a collection of classes to suit my needs. They are: Industrial Technology (Design Option), Engineering minor (Appropriate Technology) and studio art. With these, I created my major "Appropriate Design". Creating this for myself has allowed me to learn specific skill sets, create at the perfect pace and discover what I want from an education without any fluff.
