- Mary Vogel was born in Yuba City, CA, and has lived in San Francisco and Arcata since graduating from high school. She likes to make bagels and sell them illegally. She can sing "Row Row Row Your Boat" in Swedish, even though most Swedes sing it in Norwegian because there is no direct translation. Mary Vogel is a senior at Cal Poly Humboldt and studies English Literature, Journalism, and Natural Resource Management. She is the KRFH program director and a German tutor at HSU, and would like to teach one day.
