I am a mechanical engineering student at Michigan Technological University (MTU) who is currently pursuing my BS degree. Post graduation I hope to further purse my Master's degree in mechanical engineering as well. I currently have 2 publications as a co-author/contributor on a couple SAE papers pertaining to hybrid vehicles and the energy management of them. I am involved with the SAE Baja team here at MTU and have a fairly good background in manufacturing which is what got me interested in additive manufacturing which is why I'm here. I have some background experience using 3D printers and some background machining so I'm hoping to bring those two together and start learning how to build my own and improve it using my machining experience.
