My name is Henry Dernedde and I am from Arcata California. I have worked many jobs in the past but currently I am a student at Cal Poly Humboldt taking the ENGR 205 class. In ENGR 205 I am interested in learning about designing and making a product. This is because I think that as an Engineer you have all the tools and knowledge to come up with ideas to make lives better and I think that it is a shame to keep them to yourself. I think a couple skills related to the course would be communication with your team, then taking that communication and relaying it to your teacher or client in a way that pushes the project forward instead of backtracking it. Time management seems to be a big theme in this class so keeping track of when to do things and how long you can spend on them will be an important thing to practice.
