I am an Environmental Resources Engineering student at Cal Poly Humboldt with a strong interest in sustainable technologies and carbon management. Recently, I completed a Computational Fluid Dynamics research internship on carbon sequestration at Cal State Bakersfield, where I used ANSYS Fluent to analyze optimal carbon storage processes.
My academic background includes coursework in microbiology, MATLAB, CAD design, and circuits. On top of research and educational experience, I also gained outreach and organizational experience as a STEM Outreach Assistant at Taft College. I was in charge of multiple design projects, created and taught STEM lessons for K-12 children during the summer, and performed outreach for our engineering and CTEC department.
My current research interests include carbon capture, life cycle analysis, and renewable energy. My team's first research paper with Dr. Tat Acharya is in the works and should be published within the next year. As a transfer student in my first semester at Cal Poly Humboldt, I am excited to contribute to meaningful projects that connect engineering with environmental stewardship.
