Experience with technology and/or the environment[edit | edit source]
I have always had a strong interest in sustainability and the technology available for pursuing a sustainable lifestyle.
Last summer I worked at Earthly Edibles, an organic farm in Korbel Ca.
I am currently a docent at SHATZ Energy Research Center (SERC)
I worked with Humboldt Bay Keepers and the Natural Resource defense council to spread awareness and educate the public about the importance of the Marine Life Protection Act.
Last semester I worked on a project analyzing the storm water runoff on the upper Campbell Creek watershed. This project was submitted to the City of Arcata to help with the storm water permitting process. The class was ENGR 351 water quality and environmental health.
I have also taken many classes that relate to technology and the environment.
